Benidorm commemorates Tourism Day with various free activities

As every year, Benidorm commemorates tomorrow, September 27, World Tourism Day with free activities aimed at visitors, but also residents who want to take advantage of this event to enjoy some of the tourist services and experiences offered by the city. These activities are coordinated by the Department of Tourism and Visit Benidorm, and organized by local companies.

Among the proposed activities, there are bicycle routes from Mediterráneo Avenue to Punta del Cavall to see and know Serra Gelada Natural Park. This activity, organized by TAO Bike, is scheduled at 12.00 and at 13.00, for groups of between 5 and 15 people.

For its part, the urban transport concessionary company, Llorente Bus, offers free 48-hour transport cards to use throughout its fleet, including the tourist bus. The cards, while stocks last, can be picked up at the Tourist Office located in Canalejas Square.

In addition, Terra Natura, Aqua Natura, Terra Mítica, Aqualandia and Mundomar theme parks offer special discounts to their customers; like the companies Diving Stones, Benidorm Cooking Experience, Gran Hotel Delfín, Amigo 24H, Securmobil, Cable Ski, Specsavers Optical and Beniconnect.

Apart from these activities and as a central act of this commemoration, next Monday, the 30th, the 'Benidorm Tourism' prizes will be released, which this year have fallen to the International Tourism Fair of Madrid (Fitur), in the State Society for the Management of Innovation and Tourism Technologies (Segittur) and the Microservices company, in the International, National and Local / Autonomous categories respectively. Likewise, the Special Mention of these awards will be awarded to the director of the Municipal Design Department, Alejandro Guijarro Carbonell, who recently died.

The event will be held at 12 noon in the City Hall.
