The mayor and the queens of the Festes Majors Patronals inaugurate the fair that will be open until tomorrow
Benidorm celebrates the Easter Fair in Elche Park with typical products of the earth
The Comissió de Festes Majors Patronals once again celebrated the traditional Fira de Pasqua this weekend, after last year it recovered after two years without being held due to the pandemic. A fair of typical products has been installed in Elche Park and that has officially opened at 11:00 a.m. this Saturday, April 1, with the presence of the Queens of the Festes Majors Patronals, Angélica Morenilla and Daniela Talavera and their Courts of Honor.
The mayor Toni Pérez and numerous members of the municipal corporation were also present at the inauguration, as well as the president of the Comissió de Festes Majors Patronals, Vicente Solaz, and representatives of the Asociaciò de Penyes Verge del Sofratge, with its president at the helm, in addition to numerous neighbors and residents who have not wanted to miss the opportunity to buy and taste the items on sale.
During today Saturday and tomorrow Sunday, neighbors and residents will find stalls selling sausages, bread, pastries, cheeses, chocolates, salted meats, oils, wicker, and other traditional products of the earth, as well as costume jewelry, tableware, and books. In addition, the Comissió de Festes Majors Patronals installed a bar with popular prices and will continue with the sale of palms that it is carrying out throughout this week in La Palmera, Hort de Colón, and La Barqueta.
