The member of the Beach Volleyball Club of Benidorm becomes, at only 15 years old, the first in the city to play an official competition in the national team
Toni Pérez welcomes the local player Ainhoa Gili, called up by the U-17 National Team

The mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez, has received this morning Ainhoa Gili Osorio, cadet category of Taberna Andaluza Beach Volleyball Club of Benidorm and who has been summoned with the Spanish women's under-17 team since last April 3 in Guadalajara, under the orders of David Sánchez Flor, along with thirteen other players. The woman from Benidorm has played in the international tournament held in Pordenone (Italy), which ended last Tuesday the 11th, and in which the team finished in second place, after facing various national teams and teams from Italy and the United States.
Ainhoa Gili informed the mayor that her goal is to progress and participate in the national team for future calls, as well as to play the Women's Super League with her city team in the future. In her educational field, her goal is to study Business Administration and Marketing.
Benidorm is the cradle of volleyball at the national level and proof of this are the six teams that will play the regional phase in the coming days, which Ainhoa Gili will also attend.
