Solidarity market to commemorate the 'International Day of Persons with Disabilities'

Elche Park in Benidorm hosts this weekend the XVIII Solidarity Craft Fair on the occasion of the 'International Day of people with disabilities', which is celebrated on December 3. A total of 11 associations have installed their solidarity sales stalls: Asmibe, Tapis, Afem, Aerbeco, Afa Marina Baixa, Asofiben, CEEM Benidorm, Doble Amor, Ahedysia, Mujers con voz and Salud y Comunidad Foundation.

The mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez; the councillor of Social Welfare, Ángela Llorca; as well as several councilors of the municipal corporation of Benidorm have travelled this morning all the positions of the different associations, accompanied by Mari Fernández, the president of the Association of disabled people of Benidorm (ASMIBE). In them all kinds of products made by hand can be found and with the sales, funds are obtained for the work that all associations develop throughout the year.
