Social Welfare and the Federation of AMPAs of the region organize a 'webinar' to prevent 'cyberbullying'

The Community Prevention Unit for Addictive Behaviors (UPCCA), belonging to the Department of Social Welfare, and the Federation of Ampas of the Marina Baixa have organized a 'webinar' focused on cyberbullying of adolescents and how to prevent it. The 'webinar' entitled 'Educating in the era of cyberbullying' thus addresses the role of parents in preventing bullying through screens.
This telematic session will be given by the UPCCA psychologist, Mª José Gutiérrez, next Wednesday, June 16, at 7:00 p.m. The director of the IES Pere Mª Orts i Bosch, Nacho Gascón, will also take part in the 'webinar'.
The Councilor for Social Welfare, Ángela Llorca, explained that “this 'webinar' is free and of direct access, without the need for registration, through the Zoom platform at the link https://us02web.zoom.us/j/ 86097410884. Llorca has encouraged “parents and educators in general to follow this 'webinar' to know how to detect the signs of cyberbullying and have the tools to prevent it, and thus be able to stop a practice that, in many cases, takes a severe emotional toll on women. victims and in whose fight it is necessary to involve all parties ”.
