The rondalla of the ACR La Barqueta achieves an absolute full house with the concert in honor of Sant Jaume
The parish church of Sant Jaume achieved a full house last night to attend the concert offered by the Rondalla of La Barqueta Recreational Cultural Association in honor of Sant Jaume, patron saint of Benidorm.
A concert, included in the summer program of the Department of Culture, which was attended by the area councilor, Jaime Jesús Pérez, as well as members of the municipal corporation, accompanied by the president of the Mayoral Commission, Vicente Solaz, the queens of the Festes Majors Patronals, Daniela Talavera and Angélica Morenilla, and their Dames.
The program performed by the pulse and plectrum orchestra under the direction of José Antonio Pastor was as follows: Pasodoble 'Sultana' by Vázquez-Vigo, 'La luna enamorá' by Ortíz de Villajos, 'Una noche en Granada' by Emilio Cebrián, 'Opus 3 String Quartet, number 5' by J. Haydn, Andante cantabile from P. Tschaikowsky's 'Opus 11 Quartet', Federico Moreno Torroba's 'Luisa Fernanda' and Johan's 'Concert-Overture number 10' B. Kok.
The concert, which began at 9:00 p.m., was also part of the program of events in honor of Sant Jaume,
