The stalls return after the end of the music festivals and the diasembling of the infrastructures
The municipal market returns this Wednesday to its usual location in Mercasa car park
This coming Wednesday, August 9, the municipal market will recover its usual location in Mercasa car park next to Guillermo Amor Ciudad Deportiva once the summer music festivals have ended and all its infrastructure has been dismantled. In total, there have been four Wednesdays that the market has not been operational in its usual venue, although it has been in Els Tolls neighborhood.
On the other hand, Mercasa parking is also fully operational after its use by the festivals, although these had been enabled since last week as the disassembly work of the Low Festival progressed.
The Councilor for Commerce, Javier Jordá, indicated that once the musical events have finished " priority has been given to Mercasa area so that citizens have this parking area at their disposal as soon as possible, which is key for the residents in Colonia Madrid”. Jordá added that "the same relevance has been given to recover the municipal market in the shortest possible time in its traditional location."
