Quinteto de metales of the Musical Union closes the cycle ‘Concerts a l’Hort de Colon’

Last night, Quinteto de Metales of the Musical Union of Benidorm closed a new edition of the ‘Concerts a l’Hort Colon’ cycle, in which the three musical entities of the city have starred for six weeks. The Councilor for Culture, Jaime Jesús Pérez, has highlighted that “the proposals offered by the city's bands have conquered the public week after week, which has completed the expected capacity in all the concerts, thus confirming and reissuing the success of this proposal ”.

Pérez has stressed that "for this edition of 'Concerts a l'Hort de Colon' we adapt the garden area of ​​this municipal space to comply with all health safety regulations for the performance of outdoor shows", and highlighted " the exemplary behavior of the public in each and every one of the concerts offered by the Unión Musical, the Societat Musical l'Illa and the Societat Musical La Nova ”.

The head of Culture recalled that "the three musical entities have also offered their usual summer concerts, resuming their activity with both cycles after the stoppage imposed by Covid-19."

The cultural programming continues this Sunday, August 23, with the ‘Estiu Cinema’ in Julio Iglesias auditorium in Parque de l’Aigüera at 10 pm, with the projection of the animated film ‘Coco’. Admission is free and limited to the capacity of the venue.
