LGBT collective rewards the City Council and the Provincial Council for their support to diverse and tolerant tourism
The awards will be delivered on September 5 and one day before the "Benidorm Pride" week will begin with parades and outdoor performances
Benidorm City Council has just been awarded for its support and diffusion of the LGBT collective with the 'Tolerance LGBT 2017' award, granted by Benidorm LGBT Tourism Association, organizer of the 'Benidorm Pride'. The commitment of Benidorm to promote a diverse, egalitarian and tolerant tourism, is at the origin of an award that has also gone to the Costa Blanca Tourist Board. The awards ceremony will take place on September 5, starting at 8:00 p.m., on the terrace on the sixth floor of Voramar Hotel in Benidorm.
The support for LGBT tourism is a decided commitment of the Benidorm City Council which has been consolidated and strengthened over time. The summer programming of major events in the city begins each year with the 'Benidorm Pink Weekend' (May 25-27), and will end with the 'Pride' to be held this year between 4 and 10 September. A week in which you can enjoy performances in the open air and the traditional parade along Levante beach and the city center. 'Benidorm Pride' closes the international calendar of LGBT calls.
