This morning the banner of the Golden Ribbon, the international symbol of the fight against childhood cancer, was hung on the main balcony of Benidorm City Hall.
The acting mayor of Benidorm, Ana Pellicer, and the Councilor for Social Welfare, Angela Llorca, along with members of the three groups represented in the corporation, thus have shown their support for the Association of Parents of Children with Cancer (Aspanion), Benidorm, coinciding with the local launch of the international campaign 'Light the hope' that is celebrated throughout September, month of childhood cancer.
