The events commemorating the 182nd anniversary of the Local Police have been moved to the Cultural Center due to the weather forecast
The Department of Public Service announced today that the commemorative events for the 182nd anniversary of the Benidorm Local Police, scheduled for Saturday, March 7th, will be moved to the Cultural Centre due to the weather forecast this weekend. The program, which includes open house events and guided tours, has also been modified.
On Saturday, the main day of the events, the day will begin at 11:30 a.m. with a police demonstration, initially planned for Jaén Street outside the Cultural Centre. If the weather does not permit, the demonstration will be held inside. The official ceremony with the presence of authorities will take place inside the building.
Regarding the activities organised for today, Thursday, and tomorrow, Friday, today's open house has been cancelled, as has the guided tour of the police facilities scheduled for several schools, so that young people could learn about the daily work of the officers. Friday's guided tour is still scheduled, weather permitting. Around 500 schoolchildren from most schools had confirmed their attendance.
