The manager of a massage salon in Benidorm has been arrested for drug trafficking
Benidorm Local Police have arrested a Colombian woman as the alleged perpetrator of a drug trafficking offence as part of an ongoing inspection campaign targeting establishments offering massage services, which began last January.
The operation took place at a premises located on Atocha Street and was a joint effort with the National Police's Immigration Brigade. During the raid, officers seized various narcotics and cash. Several administrative infractions were also reported to the establishment and some of its employees.
Since the beginning of the year, the Local Police have conducted 15 inspections of establishments offering massage services, uncovering numerous irregularities related to the declared and actual activities.
The collaboration between Benidorm Local Police and the National Police will ensure compliance with current regulations and prevent potential illegal activities.
