Employment and Avibe organize a training day on work in travel agencies
The Department of Employment, through the Agency for Employment and Local Development, and the Association of Travel Agencies (Avibe) today organized a training day with students from two Secondary Education Institutes (IES) with the aim of showing the Hospitality and Tourism training cycle students work for travel agencies. The Councilor for Employment, Mónica Gómez, and the Vice President of Avibe, Ainhoa Francos, have opened this day held in the Assembly Hall of the City Council in which they have participated as speakers representatives of companies in the sector of Benidorm to expose their experiences.
Gómez recalled that this training action is part of the agreement signed between the City Council and Avibe to "promote training actions that contribute to job creation in the sector and improve the qualification and knowledge of the participants." Specifically, students of IES Mediterráneo of Benidorm and Miguel Hernández of Alicante have participated, as well as the students of the specialty of ‘Administrative Assistant’ of the Employment Workshop ‘Benidorm VII’ and the general public.
Previously, on October 15 and 17, another training action was carried out on ‘Intercultural protocol applied to tourism businesses’. Both one day and the other have been open to entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs, and to all those interested in working in the sector.
