Benidorm Central Library will host a new session of the "Encuentros con Autor" series next Monday, March 30th, starting at 6:00 PM in the Multipurpose Room. This was announced by the Councillor for Historical and Cultural Heritage, Ana Pellicer, who explained that this session will feature the writer María Isabel Peral del Valle.
She has a degree in History. María Isabel Peral del Valle has a distinguished professional career in the field of archives and libraries. She has worked as an archivist at the Historical Archive of the European Community in Florence and as a librarian at the School of Fiscal Studies of the Ministry of Finance in Valencia, developing extensive experience in the management and dissemination of documentary heritage.
Her literary work, especially her historical novel "Dos hermanos en la corte de Muhammad el zurdo," a finalist in the Liria City Historical Novel Competition, reflects this connection to historical and documentary research.
During the event, a review of her written work will be presented, highlighting the relationship between her work in archives and libraries and her literary creation. Attendees will also have the opportunity to interact with the author in a friendly and participatory dialogue.
Ana Pellicer has invited the public to “take advantage of this opportunity and come to the Central Library next Monday to learn more about this writer's work and to share their thoughts and opinions with her.”
