Benidorm exhibits a reference artistic exhibition of Pride'2022 celebrations
As part of the activities for the celebration of the LGTBI+ Pride in 2022, the Departments of Equality and Social Welfare scheduled an exhibition of LGTBI art and artists that was inaugurated this morning at the Espai d'Art Ajuntament, in the Plaza de SSMM Los Reyes from Spain.
The councillors Ángela Llorca and Ángela Zaragozí together with the president of the LGTBI Association of Benidorm, Chelo Oliva, have highlighted the importance and reality of this exhibition that will remain open to the public, during municipal opening hours, until August 31.
Llorca has highlighted "the social background that helps to give visibility to the collective" in 33 works by the artist's Paolo Titolo, Dado Botta and Agustín Brandani. Zaragozí has insisted on the “support of the Benidorm City Council for the collective and for “a form of expression in freedom”.
From the association, Chelo Oliva has thanked the municipal support and invited Benidorm and the region to discover the sensitivity of the work of three great artists.
In the photographic part are the works of the Italian Paolo Titolo focused on Cuban transsexual women who have already visited several European and Spanish cities; the visual technique of sculpture and recycled materials is developed by the Brazilian Leonardo Simao Botta (Dado Botta) and the drawing and painting on the human figure are presented by the Argentine Rubén Agustín Brandani.
The exhibition includes three styles to position themselves in a common front to give visibility to the group from an artistic perspective.
