Benidorm displays a great bow to commemorate the International Day of People with Disabilities

A big bow, in support of the International Day of People with Disabilities, presides over today the façade of Benidorm City Council. At 12:00 hours the mayor, Toni Pérez, the first deputy mayor, Ana Pellicer, the councillor of Equality, Paquita Ripoll; the councillor of Social Welfare, Ángela Llorca; the president of the Association of Disabled People of Benidorm (Asmibe), María Agripina Fernández and representatives of the association, as well as several councilors of the corporation have displayed the banner to commemorate the International Day of People with Disabilities, which is celebrated next Monday December 3rd.

During the week there will be different events on this day such as: the cinema-forum with the screening of the film "Campeones" on November 30 at 18:00 in the Assembly Hall of Caja del Mediterráneo Foundation , the XVIII winter handicraft market on December 1 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in Elche park and finally, reading the protest manifesto on the occasion of the International Day of People with Disabilities and subsequent Conference "Tax Aid and Other Legal Procedures for people with Functional Diversity".
