Benidorm, awarded for its tool for tracking data in networks
Benidorm has been awarded today in the IV Meeting of Mayors with Innovation for the tool for tracking data on social networks that will allow the City to optimize resources and anticipate decision making. The mayor, Toni Pérez, has collected the prize for this innovative solution developed by Optimiza Data Analytics, after exposing this morning the details and applications of this tool in the event that the Innpulso Emprende program has organized at the MediaLab in Madrid.
As the mayor explained during his presentation, this tool acts as a documentation viewer and concentrates the existing information in networks, which is dispersed, allowing resources to be optimized and advancing in decision making, which is a competitive advantage of the first magnitude.
Toni Pérez has stressed that “an innovative project has been materialized, which we have already tested, which allows us to know how our followers interact in networks and anticipate in decision making”. And, at the same time, the tool monetizes the impact that the action represents, which achieves at all times "not only immediate actions, but also the equivalent cost that we would have reported."
The application is part of the clear commitment to innovation developed by the City of Benidorm that, on September 19 at Castellón Palace of Congress, received the City of Science and Innovation Award. This commitment is part of the DTI Strategy that currently also develops a project with the Demium startup incubator, so that Benidorm is consolidated as a real innovation and technology laboratory with the aim of generating employment and attracting talent and investment.
With Optimiza Data Analytics, the tool is redesigned according to the needs of both the City Council, Hosbec and Benidorm Tourism Foundation, achieving a predictive analysis element of maximum operability.
The presentation of Benidorm has taken place within The South Summit, the space dedicated to the promotion of the most important talent of startups from southern Europe and Latin America, within the framework of the agreement, with Red.es and ICEX-Invest, for the Development of the Digital Economy and the promotion of the internalization of Spanish companies.
