Benidorm Film Office participates this afternoon in an exclusive event together with the rest of the Valencian filming offices
The audiovisual potential of Benidorm travels to Conecta Fiction in Toledo
The audiovisual and cinematographic potential of Benidorm travels from today until next Friday, the 24th, to Toledo to participate in Conecta Fiction & Entertainment, an international professional event focused on the creation, development, production, financing, broadcast and marketing of television content. An event that is within the international top 10 of the television audiovisual industry and to which the Benidorm Film Office arrives from the hand of Valencia Region Film and the Spain Film Commission.
In fact, “our filming office will be present at both stands, thus multiplying its visibility and presence at the event”, stated the mayor, Toni Pérez. In addition, the Benidorm Film Office "is going to share the agenda with the rest of the offices of the Valencian Community, participating in an exclusive event this afternoon in which our locations will be presented and the opportunities that Benidorm offers for the development of audiovisual projects will be exposed. ”.
Toni Pérez explained that "appointments like this Conecta Fiction & Entertainment encourage contact between all the parties involved in the processes of creation, development and production of audiovisual projects and that is why it is important to have a presence at the event to further and better position Benidorm as a set and a 'film friendly' city”.
According to the mayor, "the celebration of the sixth edition of Conecta Fiction & Entertainment comes at a time when audiovisual activity has returned to normal both at a national and European level, which means that the presence of filming and filming crews in Benidorm is constant”. "Without going any further -he has pointed out- in recent weeks the city has hosted the recording of numerous international television shows, proving that Benidorm is one of his favourite destinations".
This past weekend, the German program 'Pocher und Papá' has been added to the usual British programmes, where a well-known German comedian, Oliver Pocher, travels to different parts of the world with his father. The recording of the program has been carried out in various public and private spaces in the city and, in addition to showing the most well-known offer in the city, it has also been interested in local gastronomy and sports.
