Hundreds of neighbors have gathered this morning in the Church of Sant Jaume and Santa Anna to celebrate 'Ambaixà de l'Àngel', with which Benidorm commemorates Easter Sunday. The procession of the images was held in the parish church because of bad weather.
On this occasion, it was the girl Claudia Asensio Crespo who recited the traditional verses in an event that was attended by the mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez; the councilman of Fiestas, Jesús Carrobles; the senator for Alicante, Agustín Almodóbar; the regional deputy, Manuel Pérez Fenoll, members of the municipal corporation and representatives of the associations of the local festivities.
