Youth is once again organizing a course to obtain the Recreational Boat Skipper's (PER) license
The Benidorm City Council's Youth Department is once again organising a course for obtaining the Recreational Boat Skipper's (PER) license, which allows you to operate boats up to 15 meters in length and with appropriate engine power, as well as the ability to manage all types of jet skis.
The course, designed for individuals over 18 years of age, comprises online training with 11 topics (PDFs and videos), each accompanied by a 30-question test. It also includes 16 hours of open-water practice and eight hours of in-person radio training.
The practical classes will be held on October 25th and 26th, for a total of eight hours per day.
Those wishing to enrol in the course must present a photocopy of their ID and a medical certificate, along with a driver's license certificate, on the start date. The registration fee is 390 euros. All students will receive a free theoretical training book, nautical chart, protractor, ruler, compass, pencil, and pen.
