Youth ends its 'Summer Program'
The 'Summer Program' organized by the Department of Youth has ended today, after two months of activity and nearly 200 participants. A program that has been based on the CEIP Ausiàs March and through which 48 young people from 10 to 16 years old have passed every two weeks of the months of July and August.
The mayor, Toni Pérez, and the mayor of Youth, Jaime Jesús Pérez, have fired the last participants of this initiative that "we have been developing since 2018 and that constitutes a cultural, educational and leisure alternative for minors whose parents work during the summer season, thus joining the wide range of activities promoted by the City Council to promote work, family and social reconciliation during the summer”.
Toni Pérez has detailed that "after the editions that have been running, there are many families that summer after summer repeat the experience and enrol their children, a fortnight or several, in this program, which combines numerous activities such as cultural outings, beach or sports centre; workshops; emotional intelligence work; sports; games; hiking; kitchen; environmental activities; board games or film forum”
In addition to the 'Summer Program', the Department of Youth also organized the 'Summer Camp', which this year was held from July 2 to 16 in the Burgos town of Espinosa de Los Monteros.
