Youth department reactivates the Espai Jove as a meeting point for the young people of Benidorm
The Youth Department of Benidorm City Council has reactivated the activities of the Espai Jove after the summer break, with the aim of once again converting this space into a meeting point for the city's young people, offering them a healthy leisure alternative and a space safe place to meet and share with your peers. The councillor of Youth, Ana Soliveres, explained that the activities of this Espai Jove take place from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. from Monday to Friday, as well as on Saturday mornings, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., in the Information Center Youth, located at Plaza de SS MM los Reyes de España.
"From the Department of Youth we try to provide a space in which our young people can do homework in a classroom with monitors who can help them, but where they also have a meeting point to meet friends, outside the virtual environment and social networks, and in which they find educational leisure activities that are of interest to them,” explained the councillor. In addition, Soliveres recalled that access to all activities is free and that you can freely attend any of its activities.
As far as programming is concerned, throughout September, among others, craft and experiment workshops, film forum sessions, board games, video games, language workshops, and storytelling will be held. In addition, for Friday, September 22, a meeting is scheduled for the teenagers who participated in the Summer Youth Camp last July, where they will be able to exchange photos and remember all the adventures and experiences they had in Espinosa de Los Monteros.
