Toni Pérez receives Servigroup Poniente Benidorm, champion of the 1st Beach Volleyball League

The Servigroup Poniente Benidorm men's Beach Volleyball team has been proclaimed champion of the first edition of the National League of Beach Volleyball Clubs, created this season by the Royal Spanish Volleyball Federation. For this reason, the mayor Toni Pérez has received several members of the team, headed by the Olympian Raúl Mesa, founder of the club in 2013.

Pérez has encouraged them to continue representing Benidorm and has been convinced that the successes will continue to come, as has also been the recent runner-up in the Copa del Rey 2022, played in Ciutadella (Menorca).

The play-offs for the league title were played in Lorca and there the team led by José Antonio Pérez Turpin, who started as the top seed, beat Club Voley Praia de Vigo in the semifinal and Beachbol Valencia in the final.
