Toni Pérez accompanies the AVE businessmen at the IX Benidorm Tourism Conference

The mayor of Benidorm today accompanied the members of the Valencian Association of Entrepreneurs, AVE, in their traditional day of analysis of the situation of Tourism in the city-tourism, Benidorm, which in 2022 has reached its ninth edition.
Maintaining as a principle "we are all tourism", under the premise and hashtag #eresturismo, the conference has valued the role of companies and entrepreneurs in society, recognizing, at the same time, the work carried out to maintain leadership assumed by the Valencian Community in Tourism.
During the conference, tourism was analyzed as the main engine of the economy with analyzes by experts, such as the economist Fernando Trías de Bes or the director of Hotels & Tourism at CaixaBank, David Rico. The chef Quique Dacosta outlined the doses of innovation in the sector, whose detailed analysis was carried out by the CEOs of Airbus, Miguel Ángel Cintas; from Booking, Pilar Crespo; and Sara Sánchez, from Rusticae, who showed their satisfaction with the evolution and perspectives of the sector.
Finally, Adolfo Utor, President of Balearia, led the dialogue with Encarna Piñero, Vice President of Grupo Piñero, who presented the business success model developed by her company in Spain, the Caribbean and the Antilles.
Toni Pérez spoke with the senior staff of AVE, with its president Vicente Boluda and members of the Board -Juan Roig, Pedro López or Antonio Arias- as well as prominent businessmen from Benidorm, the province and the Valencian Community, highlighting "the active presence of all sectors of the economy.
