Up to 3,000 euros per establishment can be requested, on a line financed by Alicante Provincial Council
Tomorrow, August 20, is the deadline to apply for direct aid to nightlife
The extended period to request municipal aid to minimize the impact of Covid-19 in the nightlife sector is tomorrow, Friday, August 20.
As the councilor for Employment and Local Development, Mónica Gómez, explained when the extension of the same was announced on August 4, the will of Benidorm City Council is "to reach the largest number of companies and self-employed people in the sector through this line of help ”.
Interested people can request up to an amount of 3,000 euros per establishment and the line is financed through a grant from Alicante Provincial Council of about 300,000 euros.
The objective is to minimize the effects that the pandemic is causing on this nightlife sector at a time like the present when measures and restrictions are still in force.
SMEs, micro-SMEs and the self-employed in the sector with tax address in Benidorm and that "between July 1, 2020 and June 30, 2021 have reduced the monthly average billing by at least 25%, are eligible for this line of aid, with respect to the monthly average of 2019 ”.
The request and process can be made until 11:59 p.m. on Friday, August 20, through the municipal website, https://sede.benidorm.org, where the full content of the bases can also be consulted.
The eligible items for these grants include expenses such as self-employed fees, the monthly rent for the establishment, advisory and consultancy expenses, and those related to energy, water, telephone, internet, security or maintenance staff contracts. Also, those related to loans for the acquisition of the business premises, its insurance, or those derived from the rental or acquisition of vehicles 100% related to the activity.
