The residents of El Campo-Plaza España Neighborhood celebrate Cruz de Mayo Festivitiy

El Campo-Plaza España Neighborhood Association celebrated yesterday, May 3, the traditional festivity of Cruz de Mayo, a celebration deeply rooted in different Autonomous Communities and with which the discovery of the Holy Cross is remembered. At Plaza de España and at the foot of a cross adorned with flowers, residents of the neighborhood met; members of the municipal Corporation, including the Councilor for Citizenship Participation, Ana Pellicer; and members of the Neighborhood Council participated in this celebration.

After the blessing of the Holy Cross by the priest of Buen Pastor parish, the Tramontana folkloric group, from the cultural association of the same name, performed various 'mayos' dedicated to women and danced Manchegan jotas.
