Nine runners of the Club Ultra-Trail Benidorm participate in the Transvulcania 2017
The Councilor for Sports, Ana Pellicer, has received this morning José Carreño, representative of Club Ultra-Trail Benidorm that will participate with nine athletes in the Transvulcania 2017, a long distance race considered one of the hardest mountain marathons in Spain and that will run next Saturday, May 13, on the island of La Palma (Canary Islands).
Pellicer congratulated the runners of Benidorm for their participation in this hard test and wished them, on behalf of the whole corporation, the greatest success. Transvulcania race, which has a length of 74.33 km, a positive slope of 4,350 m and a negative of 4,057. The test scores for the World Mountain Racing Championship.
