Among the attendees, the president of FECUAS, the Cultural Federation of Andalusia in the South of the Valencian Community, Luis Romero, and representatives of the city's festive groups, among them the queens of the Festes Majors Patronals 2023, Angélica Morenilla and Daniela Talavera, flanked by the president of the Commission, Vicente Solaz, who, at the end of the event, paid homage to the new Queen who, at all times, was accompanied by the president of the House of Andalusia of Benidorm, Raúl González.

The Councilor for Festivals and Events, also responsible for the area of Public Service and former Councilor for Fiestas, Jesús Carrobles, was the organizer of the event with a brief speech in which he wanted to highlight “how much the Andalusians have taught me of Benidorm” for so many years as the head of the local festivals.

Carrobles highlighted the recently concluded reign of Elia Romero and Maira Jiménez and the “push” given by the current board of directors of the House of Andalusia that has allowed it to “grow” in members and in “the quality of the events” that they organize every year. in the city.

The maintainer reviewed the 43 years of presence of the group in the city and its “12 presidents and almost 80 queens.” “He has said: years of fireworks, horsemen, spectacular costumes, and carts decorated with flags and lanterns.” Likewise, he elaborated on the most immediate future, "a year of reign full of joy and magical moments" that, although "it will fly by", will allow us to reaffirm "the customs and ties that unite us with Andalusia."
The proclamation ceremony of the new queen has also featured the talent of the dancer Rocío Romero, the Sevillanas of Ecos de Andalucía, and the art of “Flamenco de las siete lunas".
