L’Horta de Benidorm celebrates its festivities in honor of La Mare de Déu del Roser

L’Horta neighbourhood in Benidorm commemorates La Mare de Déu del Roser from tomorrow and during the weekend with a very simple program of activities.
On Thursday 7th, commemoration of Virgin Rosario, a mass will be celebrated in the Hermitage of Sanz on the 450th anniversary of the liturgical establishment of the celebration of Virgin Rosario, by Pope Pius V, on the occasion of the victory in the naval battle of Lepanto (1571).
Roser Fiestas Commission, with the collaboration of the Department of Fiestas, has scheduled for Saturday, October 9, two Valencian pilota games, at 10 and 12 in the morning, for participants registered in the children's and adult categories, and in the afternoon, at 6 pm, the traditional offering to the Virgin after which, maintaining the tradition and memory of the town of Benidorm, the queens and ladies of the Major Patron Festivities will dance Peuet dance and fireworks.
On Sunday the 10th the Hermitage of Sanz will finish the celebrations for this year with a mass.
