1937 works of 15 schools have been presented and the 30 best ones of each center
This noon has been inaugurated the exhibition of the XV Contest of Drawing and Painting of 'La Barqueta' in La Casa del Fester. The event was attended by the mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez; The councilors of Fiestas and Culture, Jesús Carrobles and Ana Pellicer accompanied by other members of the municipal corporation; The president of the Commission of Festes Majors Patronals 2017, Antonio Vicente Fuster; and the Cultural and Recreational Association 'La Barqueta', Francisco Llorens, 'Paco Rosera'.
In the contest have participated 1937 students from 15 schools in the city aged between 6 and 12 years. Students of first, second and third cycle of Primary Education that have realized their works inspiring in the Finding of the Virgin of the Sufragio that is staged during the Festes Majors Patronals of November. The organization has established a first, second and third prizes plus four prizes, to which must be added about 60 more prizes that will be distributed among all works that receive jury score. The awards and diplomas will take place on Thursday 30, at 18.00 hours in the Assembly Hall of the City Hall and the exhibition will be closed the next day, Friday 31.
