The mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez, and the councillor for Sports, Ana Pellicer, have delivered this morning to Benidorm's athlete, Juanan Fernández a sports kit, printed with the logo of Benidorm, with which the athlete will participate on Sunday, 9 October, in the prestigious Chicago Marathon, for which there are already more than 50,000 runners registered. Fernández will be with the best runners in the world. Juanan Fernández belongs to Benidorm Athletics Club and has participated in marathons in Berlin (2012), London (2013), Boston (2014) and Tokyo (2015). In Boston and Tokyo he was ranked the best Spanish athlete, and in London he won the twenty-second absolute position. Fernández whises to run the New York Marathon next year and achieve sporting milestone of having participated in the six most important tests of the planet.
