"Festa de Sant Roc" celebrates its big day today

Festa de Sant Roc Commission, chaired by Vicenta Asensio, celebrates today August 16 its big day full of activities for all audiences organized by the residents of this central street in the Calvari neighbourhood. A festivity that has been celebrated since 25 years ago a group of neighbours decided to commemorate this deeply rooted celebration in part of the Valencian territory.

At 10.30 in the morning a mass was held in the church of Sant Jaume i Santa Anna, which was attended by the Councilor for Fiestas, Jesús Carrobles, members of the municipal corporation and representatives of the Comissió. This afternoon the games and snacks will take place and at night the day will culminate with the traditional 'aperitive'.
