Registration for the test is still open, which takes place in various modalities and has a Row 0

Everything ready for the IV Doble Amor Cross Solidarity Campo a Través this Sunday

05 May 2023
Previa Cross Doble Amor

Everything is practically ready in El Moralet Park for the IV Solidarity Cross Country for the benefit of Doble Amor which is celebrated this Sunday, May 7, with the collaboration of the Department of Sports and the Benidorm Athletics Club. The councilor for Sports, Mariló Cebreros, has encouraged citizens "to join this solidarity test and thus support Doble Amor, a social entity that has worked for four decades and promotes the integration of people with functional diversity."

Cebreros reported that "until late this Friday morning online registrations are still open on the website www.grupobrotons.com" at prices ranging from 3.60 to 12.60 euros depending on the modalities of the proof. The councilor recalled that "the amount of the registration goes entirely to Doble Amor" and that "during the registration process additional contributions can also be made from 1 to 25 euros." All participants will receive an exclusive IV Cross t-shirt.

Likewise, she stressed that "the same Sunday you can also register up to 30 minutes before the start of the test", with a price slightly higher than that of advance registration. At least half an hour in advance, the bib numbers must be collected in the tent arranged by the organization at the access to El Moralet next to the athletics track, the point from which the test will start.

As Cebreros detailed, the test will take place in the modalities of cross country, hikers, Nordic walking, and children's races, each one with different distances so that "all people can participate in this initiative, regardless of their age or physical condition". In addition, as it is a solidarity test, there is also the possibility of collaborating with this cause through Row 0.

The central test, the 8-kilometer Cross, will begin at 09:00 in all categories. At the same time the hiking march and the Nordic walking will begin, both of 4 kilometers; while the children's races –from babies to children under 16- will do it at 10.30 am. Depending on their age, minors will cover one distance or another.

The organization is going to install a bar where athletes and the general public will be able to regain strength and the proceeds of which will also go towards maintaining the occupational center.
