Registration is done at www.bonobenidormtedamas.es or in the 'app' BuyBono
Establishments and commercial activities can now enroll in # BenidormTeDaMás consumer voucher initiative
From 3:00 pm today, December 13, the establishments and commercial activities of Benidorm can register for # BenidormTeDaMás initiative. The campaign consists of the issuance of a consumer voucher of up to 50 euros to be exchanged in the establishments adhered to the campaign by any citizen of legal age registered in the town.
Registration can be done on the web www.bonobenidormtedamas.es or through the mobile application ‘BuyBono’ that is available on the Play Store and Apple Store platforms. The objective of the initiative, born from “active listening and permanent dialogue with the city's productive sector”, as explained by Mayor Toni Pérez, is to “encourage consumption in local establishments and activities, contribute to continuing to revitalize the city and to generate economic activity and employment ”while facilitating“ the acquisition of service and consumer goods ”for registered persons.
To that end, this morning a meeting was held at the Mayor's Office with representatives of the city's business fabric to finalize the details of the campaign. Members of Abreca-Cobreca, Aico, Jovempa, Radio Taxi, Hosbec, Ociobal, Camping Association, Avibe and Facpyme have attended the business sector.
Those establishments that have their fiscal domicile or activity in Benidorm can enroll in the campaign, except those registered in section 647.4. Both participating establishments and users must register on the website and the 'app'. Establishments must provide their opening or activity license.
Thus, the participating businesses will appear in a list that will appear on the campaign website, in the 'app' itself and on Benidorm City Council website to be consulted by users.
However, the Department of Commerce has enabled an information telephone number for establishments. In this way, any questions can be consulted at the number 96-6815443.
As for users, once registered, they will have access to five ten-euro vouchers to exchange at participating establishments. The vouchers are in QR format and are obtained through the 'app' and the website enabled for this purpose. User registrations can be made at the end of this week. "They are, therefore, 50 euros per registered person over 18 years old," the mayor has detailed. Each voucher may be used until December 31 as a discount on purchases or drinks equal to or greater than 20 euros. In order to access the 50 euros discount, there must be a total consumption - prior to the discount - of 100 euros.
To the initiative, ‘# BenidormTeDaMás’, the City Council allocates a total of 3,094,500 euros from the municipal budget ”. With these figures, Toni Pérez has emphasized that “if all the people registered in Benidorm over 18 years of age make use of all the vouchers, the real consumption and, therefore, the economic impact of this initiative, will be at least 6 , 2 million euros ”.
On the other hand, users will be able to link this campaign with # BenidormMásCerca initiative, in force until the end of the year, which offers the first hour of free parking in six public car parks to those who consume more than 20 euros in commercial, leisure, restaurant and hospitality of the city, for which it is enough to present the ticket confirming the consumption of more than 20 euros. In total, there are almost 1,800 parking spaces available in the L’Aigüera, Tomás Ortuño, Mercado, Ametlla de Mar, Ruzafa and Cines Colci car parks.
Support for families and productive fabric
Toni Pérez has insisted that "since the pandemic broke out, the City Council has been coordinating aid and initiatives to serve the most vulnerable families and to contribute to maintaining the activity of the local productive fabric." "Our commitment has been, from minute one, to mobilize resources to serve the population and the productive fabric while it is still necessary," he added.
So far this year, around 8 million euros have been allocated to aid and initiatives, to which are added the income not received due to the suspension of the table and chair fee from March 14, 2020 until March 31 / 12/2022 or the reduction of the ICIO to 50% ”. To this will be added in 2022 the general reduction in the tax rate of the IBI and the Tax on Mechanical Traction of Vehicles, approved in plenary session on October 25 last.
The mayor has indicated that "now, with the winter season and the consequent reduction in tourist activity" and when the "regional administration and the Government of Spain" continue to "penalize with their policy of restrictions on the productive fabric and families, with a shopping basket, energy and consumption to the disproportionate rise ", Benidorm City Council considers that it is time to inject more resources to help the population and the business sector, in this case with an initiative of the that both parties benefit ”.
