Employment offers a free coaching program to unemployed young people in Benidorm

The Department of Employment that coordinates Mª Jesús Pinto, offers the project of 'coaching' and labor orientation 'Team for the search of employment and entrepreneurship', directed to unemployed people inscribed in the National System of Youth Guarantee. An initiative in which the European Social Fund, the FVMP (Valencian Federation of Municipalities and Provinces) and the SERVEF (Valencian Employment and Training Service) also participate.

Mª Jesús Pinto has indicated that for the realization of this program will be used techniques of 'coaching', or personal training. "A methodology," he said, "which, given the known experiences, is ideal for maximizing the professional and personal development of the participants". The mayor has stressed that the contents of the project include "resources for guidance, training and individual and collective activities" designed specifically for the participating group "based on their personal characteristics."

The Councilor for Employment and Local Development recalled that participation in this program of regional scope was approved "unanimously" by the City Council and that Benidorm has been "one of the three municipalities of the province selected for its realization". In total, in the Valencian Community will be developed only in 10 locations.

The project 'Equipment for the search for employment and entrepreneurship', aims to form a heterogeneous group, between 15 and 20 young unemployed participants. A professional of the 'coaching' will help them to improve their attitudes and aptitudes in order to access the labor market. Through group techniques and dynamics, the group's skills will be sought to increase their chances of finding a job, either on their own or on behalf of others.

The program lasts 5 months and will be based in the 'Casa del Fester' (La Biga street, 3). Young people interested in joining it can register by sending an email to the agency agency development@benidorm.org, calling 966 815 511 or directly at the Agency for Development and Local Employment (AEDL) located in the lower town of Benidorm. To register for the Youth Guarantee, it is necessary to be unemployed and register in the Ministry's file, which can also be done through the AEDL of the Department of Employment.
