Cultura presenta la gala del ‘Estudio de Danza María José Moya’ en la que participarán cerca de 80 bailarines

The Dance Studio María José Moya will hold a gala at Oscar Esplá auditorium of l'Aigüera Park on Sunday, July 8 at 9:30 p.m., organized with the collaboration of the Department of Culture and which will be used to raise funds with those who finance the trip to participate in the International Championship of the IDO (International Dance Organization), which will be held from December 5 to 9 in the Polish city of Rawa.

The councillor of Culture, Ana Pellicer, has presented the gala with María José Moya, an action that is promoted after the excellent results of the students in the Spanish championship, recently held in Villajoyosa. Pellicer encouraged "enjoy a high-level dance show" and collaborate with the donation of 5 euros to finance the trip. The councillor gave her congratulations to all students and "encouragement and strength" for the international championship, underlining the support of the Department of Culture for a discipline that will take the name of Benidorm internationally.

On the other hand, María José Moya explained that at the gala about 80 dancers of the studio will perform, "from the smallest to the oldest who were winners in the Championship of Spain". All the dances that were presented will also be interpreted, several of which obtained recognitions in different categories such as junior and children, costumes, etc. The selection for the gala includes a wide variety of dances: classical, neoclassical, funky, Spanish or flamenco dance, among others.

In total there will be nine dancers that will participate in Poland in the IDO International Competition, which are the ones that won the first national prize. María José Moya thanked the support of all parents and students of the study and the momentum of the Department of Culture of the City of Benidorm, which "have turned to this project."
