The government informs the groups of the latest developments of the urban plan and the cleaning of the plot made by the owners
Benidorm will send to the Ministry the strategic document presented by the owners of PP1 / 1 to relaunch the urbanization of the sector
The City Council of Benidorm will send to the Ministry of Housing, Works and Vertebration of the Territory the Initial Strategic Document presented last Monday by the Town Planning Interest Group (AUI) of the Partial Plan 1/1 Armanello and that constitutes the first step to relaunch the urbanization of the sector. The Councilor for Urban Development, Lourdes Caselles, explained that "it is the Ministry that must carry out the environmental report" of the sector, since the City Council "is not the competent body".
The municipal technicians have informed all the groups of the news regarding the development of this Plan in the Commission of Follow-up of Armanello, summoned yesterday by the mayor, Toni Pérez, in which the municipal secretary and architect have participated, as well as the technical of Legal Affairs of Urbanism and Social Welfare.
Caselles has indicated that this Strategic Initial Document, provided by the owners electronically on Monday afternoon, "has been drafted in accordance with the bases of approach that were developed by the City Council in July 2017", and that were made by the areas of Architecture, Engineering and Legal Services of Urbanism.
Now the Ministry should study the document and check if it "fits all territorial plans that affect the sector," including the PATSECOVA (Territorial Action Plan for Trade in the Valencian Community), the PATRICOVA (Action Plan) Territorial on Flood Risk Prevention in the Valencian Community) and the PATFOR (Forest Territorial Action Plan of the Valencian Community). Once the Conselleria is pronounced, it will be necessary to "modify the document based on what the environmental report marks, and then proceed with the drafting of the partial plan that will regulate the development of this sector, called 'Ensache de Levante' by the Group of Urban Interest ".
In the same Monitoring Commission has also reported the work of clearing and cleaning that owners have begun to undertake in the sector at the request of the City Council. Caselles has reported that it has been detected that "there are individuals who are using these plots for the dumping of rubble from small works" so "many times it takes more owners to clean these plots than others to soil them." In any case, "the owners are going to meet to try to work and act together" so that "the image of the sector is not the one that has moved for a long time."
