The program will last from April to November and is part of the ‘X Forum of Women in the Present’
City Hall and Memba will collaborate throughout the year in the development of activities to boost entrepreneurship
Benidorm City Council will collaborate with Memba, the Association for the Development of Entrepreneurs Women in the Marina Baixa, in the activities that the entity plans to develop throughout the year in the city to boost entrepreneurship within the framework of the 'X Forum of Women in the Present '. A collaboration that will come, mainly, from the areas of Employment and Equality and that has been raised in a meeting held between the mayor, Toni Pérez; the councilors of both areas, Mónica Gómez and Ángela Zaragozí; the president of Memba, Mª José Tent, and members of the board of directors of the entity.
As explained by the mayor of Employment and Local Promotion, "these activities will be carried out between the months of April and November, and will culminate on November 19, Day of Entrepreneurs Woman." Among the activities already completed "there are conferences, talks and workshops related to key issues that should be taken into account and meet people interested in undertaking."
Gómez stressed that "all these activities will serve as a meeting, debate and learning space open to men, and in which the essential tools for entrepreneurship will be addressed."
