The Information Center of the Social Security will occupy until February some dependencies on the ground floor of the Consistory
The City Council assigns to the INSS a room for the CAISS while its offices in Jupiter street are being reformed
Benidorm City Council has provided two rooms free of charge to the National Institute of Social Security to provide its service and information to the citizen for the duration of the refurbishment work of its offices in Jupiter Street. The mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez, has visited the provisional facilities in the City Council of the CAISS (Social Security Information and Service Center) where it is estimated that in the next 3 months about 6,000 citizens will go in search of information or to carry out some procedure related to their old age pension or other Social Security benefits.
Toni Pérez stressed that the transfer of these municipal facilities reflects the spirit of collaboration that should exist between public administrations and that in this case has been done with an administration that provides an enormous service to the public. In the visit he made to the facilities, the mayor was accompanied by Aurelio Morales, provincial director of the Social Security Institute; Elena Avilés, provincial deputy director of CAISS coordination and María Ángeles Rodrigo, director of CAISS de Benidorm.
The assigned dependencies occupy the room where previously was located the Agency of Employment and Local Development and the Computer Training Classroom, on the ground floor of the town hall, now transferred to other attached offices, and where it will continue to provide their services while this assignment lasts to the INSS. It is estimated that the transfer will continue until February of next year, the date on which Jupiter Street works are expected to conclude.
The eight officials of the CAISS de Benidorm are already providing their citizen services in the new office at the City Hall from 8:45 to 14:15, Monday to Friday, and by appointment can be requested on the phones 965903246/901106570, or online: www.seg-social.es
