Benidorm will train 10 young people for a year in free time activities with ‘T’Avalem’ program

Benidorm City Council will train 10 unemployed young people under 30 years of age in dynamization, direction and coordination of free time activities within the framework of  ‘T’Avalem Benidorm’ project. The Councilor for Employment and Local Development, Mónica Gómez, explained that “the project proposed by the City Council has obtained, through LABORA, a subsidy of just over 240,000 euros from the European Social Fund, with which both the contracting of the participants and that of the teaching team that will be in charge of their training ”.
Gómez recalled that " T’Avalem ’program combines theoretical and practical training, so it is a great opportunity for young people who want to improve their employability or expand their knowledge in a new field." In this case, the participants will be trained in ‘Dynamization of educational free time activity for children and young people’ (code SSCB0209) and in ‘Management and coordination of educational and youth free time activities’.
As the councillor has detailed, "this group of 10 young people will receive theoretical training at the‘ Pepita Puchades ’Employment Training Center and will develop the practical part in the historical and cultural heritage spaces of our city."
In order to participate as students / participant in ‘T’Avalem Benidorm Jove’, in addition to being under 30 years old, it is required to be enrolled in the Youth Guarantee program and in LABORA within the required training code. In addition, it is necessary to be in possession of the ESO certificate.
