As in the last editions, the city will have its own space within the stand of the Valencian Community and will participate in Fitur Gay
Benidorm will present in Fitur its technological innovations linked to the DTI and its events programming
Benidorm finalizes these days its presence in the International Tourism Fair of Madrid (Fitur), which starts on Wednesday, January 17, and in which the city will present its technological novelties linked to the Smart Tourism Destination (DTI) and an advance of the programming of events that will take place throughout the year.
As in previous editions, Benidorm will have a unique and own space inside the stand of the Valencian Community, in which the five other tourist brands of the region are also integrated: Costa Blanca, València Turisme, Castellón Mediterráneo, Alicante and Tourism Valencia.
Specifically, Benidorm will have 78 square meters of exhibition space. The structure of the 'stand' is novel, since it lacks 'truss' and all of it comes from the base. The image that presides over the 'stand' in a backlit photograph of the 'skyline' at night - 7 meters high by 19 meters long -, while the two urban squares of Benidorm cover the counter area. The 'stand' has several meeting spaces, as well as a large video screen.
In addition to announcing the latest technological innovations that will be implemented in the city to advance the goal of becoming the first Smart Tourist Destination in Spain, Benidorm will participate in two Fiturtech tables. The first, entitled 'Segmentation of customers through data', will take place on Wednesday 18 and it will participate the manager Foundation Visit Benidorm, Leire Bilbao. On Thursday the 19th it will be the turn of the mayor, Toni Pérez, who will present the experience of Benidorm in relation to 'Differentiation as a formula for the repositioning of pioneer destinations'.
As in the previous two editions, the LGBT offer will be exhibited at Fitur Gay, located in pavilion 3 of Ifema, where the Benidorm Pride will be presented in 2018. In addition, the fair will serve to hold working meetings with tour operators, airlines and those responsible for the Turespaña offices in different countries and European capitals that are interesting markets for the city.
