Benidorm reaffirms its commitment to the SDGs during President Puig's visit to the ‘stand’ of the city
Benidorm has reaffirmed its commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and its fulfillment within the 2030 Agenda during the institutional visit of the President of the Generalitat Valenciana, Ximo Puig, to the 'stand' of the city at the International Tourism Fair of Madrid (Fitur), where he has been received by the mayor, Toni Pérez; the first deputy mayor, Ana Pellicer; members of the municipal corporation; the president of the hotel employer Hosbec, Toni Mayor; the general secretary of this organization, Nuria Montes; and the manager of the Visit Benidorm Foundation, Leire Bilbao, among others.
In addition to Ximo Puig, the Vice President of the Generalitat, Mónica Oltra, also participated in this official visit; the president of the Provincial Council of Alicante, Carlos Mazón; and the regional secretary of Tourism, Francesc Colomer.
Toni Pérez recalled that Benidorm has aligned the 17 SDGs with the five axes of the Smart Tourist Destination (DTI): accessibility, sustainability, governance, innovation and technology.
