Benidorm Inclusión students begin their gardening practices
The students of the Course of Auxiliary Activities in Nurseries, Gardens and Garden Centers of the BENIDORM Inclusión Project, have started the final phase of their training process, consisting of Non-Labor Professional Practices (PPNL) in the concession company of the park maintenance service and gardens of Benidorm, ACTUA.
The councilor for Employment and Local Development, Mª Jesús Pinto, accompanied the students in the beginning of this new phase of their training project and stressed that the realization of these practices contributes "to strengthen the employability and professional skills of young people who are neither integrated into the education and training systems nor occupied ". Pinto, after the results obtained after the formative phase already completed, has shown confidence that "the group will achieve the goals that have been proposed" in this new phase that is now beginning.
This Benidorm INCLUSION course consists of 14 students (9 men and 5 women) and is part of the Youth Guarantee program. The participants will carry out maintenance work in landscaped areas of the center of Benidorm, such as the new Foietes Park or the Aigüera Park. This period of PNNL consists of a total of 80 hours and will end on February 25, the date on which the course will be concluded. The total budget for this project that began in December 2017 is 100,990.22 euros, financed by 91.8% by the European Social Fund for Youth Guarantee, through the Ministry of the Presidency and for Territorial Administrations.
