Asofiben begins its activities to make visible and raise awareness about fibromyalgia
Benidorm Fibromyalgia Association (Asofiben) has begun activities today to commemorate World Fibromyalgia Day, which is celebrated this coming Sunday, May 12. The first meeting took place this morning with the placement of an allusive banner in the Town Hall square next to which Mayor Toni Pérez and members of the municipal corporation posed with representatives of the association and its board of directors, as well as professionals and affected persons belonging to it.
Today they have installed several information tables at the junction of Gambo and Martínez Alejos streets to offer information to those interested, make the disease visible and show what the daily reality of the affected people is like. Tomorrow, Saturday, they have organized a meal at 2 p.m. in a restaurant in the city to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of the association.
Asofiben is an association in Benidorm whose objectives include improving the quality of life of affected people, as well as promoting a more egalitarian and inclusive society.
