60 Primary students participate in the closing of the II School Children of Basic Bicycle

The second edition of the School Children of Basic Bicycle has been closed with the participation of 60 children of 5th year of the public schools of Els Tolls and Vasco Núñez de Balboa. It is an initiative organized by the Neighborhood Association, Benidorm Cycling Club and Benidorm Mesa Pro Bicicleta with the collaboration of the City Council through the Sports and Mobility Councils.

The School Children Basic Bicycle is an extracurricular sports activity that has been carried out since February, in the playgrounds and gymnasiums of the school centers. During these weeks, the children have received 10 practical theoretical classes of circulation and mechanics in order to familiarize them with the use of bicycles in the urban environment and in compliance with regulations. The last activity was a tour of the school area of ​​Els Tolls in the direction of the educational and sports complex of the Salt de l'Aigua, until reaching the Palau d'Esports to later return through the streets of Holanda, Avenida Inglaterra and Italia street. During the urban tour, the children have circulated escorted by the Local Police.
