22 unemployed people attend a Training Program to improve their labor insertion
Students will obtain a Certificate of Professionalism on gardening and tourism services
Since last December 30, two courses have been held in the Training Center for Employment 'Pepita Puchades' in Benidorm, which will allow 22 people, all unemployed, to obtain the Certificate of Professionalism to access with greater guarantees to the labor market. The courses are part of the Training Program for Insertion of the Employment and Local Development Agency (AEDL) of Benidorm City Hall, in collaboration with the Valencian Employment and Training Service (Servef).
This morning, the councilor for Employment, María Jesús Pinto accompanied by the specialist of Servef, Tomás Aguirregoitia; and staff of the AEDL, have visited the facilities of 'Pepita Puchades' center to officially welcome the students and inform them of the advantages they will get after completing the training period.
María Jesús Pinto intervened to reaffirm the commitment of the City Council for "a quality training that allows workers to be more competitive and efficient for labor reinsertion" and highlighted the two modules that are being carried out in Pepita Puchades center "which are" essential for the economy of Benidorm and highly demanded ".
In the first of these courses, 'Ancillary activities in nurseries, gardens and garden centers', are 12 unemployed workers, without previous studies and has a total cost of 22,377.60 euros. The teaching team consists of a teacher of auxiliary activities in nurseries, gardens and garden centers and a professor of business management. The students will practice in the municipal plot of the Sequia Mare.
In the second course, 'Sale of tourist products and services', are 10 unemployed workers with a minimum degree and has a budget of 39,121.00 euros. There is a teacher specialtist in sale of services and tourist products, an English teacher and another one of business management. The practical training will take place in the tourist information offices of Benidorm.
The two courses are subsidized by the Conselleria of Sustainable Economy, Productive Sectors, Commerce and Labor.
