Benidorm hosts this Saturday the 60th anniversary of Manos Unidas with a great show

Benidorm acoge este sábado el 60 aniversario de Manos Unidas con un gran espectáculo

Julio Iglesias auditorium in Parque de l'Aigüera in Benidorm hosts this Saturday, June 29, at 9:30 p.m., the celebration of the 60th Anniversary of Manos Unidas nationwide with a great show called 'Europasión'. In this show will participate an important cast of artists accompanied by a magnificent symphonic, choreographic and choral display with the acclaimed voices 'Vocemmus 2019', and especially Ignacio Encinas de La Voz and the Vinalopó Choir.

The Councilor for Social Welfare, Angela Llorca, has presented this morning at a press conference the event to which she invited "not only the entire city of Benidorm, but the entire region and even the entire province to be this Saturday with us in this great show that Manos Unidas has prepared with such enthusiasm. "

Antonio Ibarra, responsible for Communication and Events of Manos Unidas Diocesana, thanked the people in Benidorm  for "the celebration of this 60th anniversary, in which some brave women decided to declare war on hunger there in 1960, and since then we are fighting more than 5,000 volunteers throughout Spain, in the work of transmitting to the population that there are people who die of hunger. " Ibarra also pointed out that "Benidorm has always been very generous with Manos Unidas, with more than 50 years helping and collaborating".

Jovita Gómez, artistic director of 'Vocemmus' has highlighted the importance of collaborating in this solidarity event. Thus, he affirmed that "it is an honor for all our artists to be in this land of solidarity and always tries to help others." He also thanked Pablo Gutiérrez, director of the San Vicente Symphony Orchestra, "to accept being with We together with national and international artists such as Ignacio Encinas, a great opera singer and La Voz participant, Lorenzo Tartabull, Spanish singer-songwriter Inma Serrano, and Agatha Martínez, among others ".
