Youth organizes the III 'Youth Forum' to debate on the needs and problems of young people in Benidorm
The Youth Department of Benidorm City Council has organized the third edition of the Youth Forum for December 1, which will take place in the City Hall press room. The purpose of this event is to constitute “a place for meeting and debate, on an annual basis, about the needs, problems, and collection of opinions of the young people of Benidorm”, as explained by the Youth Councilor, Ana Soliveres. The meeting also aims, she indicated, to “encourage their participation and involvement in the development of local policies in this area.”
In the Youth Forum, different working groups will address problems, and/or needs with their possible solutions. Thus, the working groups will analyze issues such as youth communication and networks, youth autonomy, youth in action, youth participation, and youth commitment. For its organization, associations and entities have been involved from the beginning, as well as interested young people.
The Forum will begin at 6 p.m. with the reception and welcome to attendees. At 6:15 p.m. the Benidorm Youth plan will be discussed. A quarter of an hour later the working tables will be formed and at 7:30 p.m. the conclusions will be presented and the meeting will be closed. All young people who wish can attend.
