Aimed at players aged 6 to 15 years will develop the technique, tactics and psychological motivation in grassroots football
There is already a date for the celebration in Benidorm of the twelfth edition of the Football Campus 'Antonio López': between 10 and 15 July, in the municipal sports facilities in Rincón de Loix that has the name of the former Benidorm player from Atletico de Madrid , Osasuna and Real Mallorca, in the first division and in the national team.
The Councilor of Sports, Ana Pellicer, and the player have presented this morning the Campus in which children between 6 and 15 years old can be registered, both internally and externally and in which trainers, monitors and physiotherapists collaborate; with the aim of "teaching kids," said Pellicer, "all the values of this sport as a team" as they are "companionship and competitiveness", in a summer season in which "they are more unoccupied" by the holidays. Ana Pellicer has called for young people to enroll in the Campus, and "as a woman", especially girls.
For his part, Antonio López thanked the support of the City Council and the collaborating companies that each edition allow to realize the Campus in Benidorm. "Every year," he emphasized, "we are happier and prouder to do it here." López recalled that "the purpose of this campus is to promote sports" that children have fun, "learn, enjoy and experience experiences" that will remember forever.
The XII Football Campus 'Antonio López' bases its training on three important values that must be developed in the base football stage: technique, tactics and psychological motivation. In total 104 places are offered. More information can be found on the website www.aleventosdeportivos.es
