Following the promotional tour in Romania, Bulgaria and Poland, Visit Benidorm continues to promote the city in new emerging markets, in this case participating in the Utazas fair, which takes place in the capital of Hungary, Budapest .
Benidorm will be present in this event by the Costa Blanca Patronage and within the area of Turespaña. The Utazas fair is considered as the main tourism fair in the country and takes place in the Hungexpo in Budapest from today Thursday until Sunday.
Visit Benidorm will also be present at a cocktail party at the Spanish Embassy with tour operators, 2 TAP airlines (for their connection to Faro-Huelva) and Wizzair which has a direct flight from Budapest to Alicante in high season. There are also representatives from the 11 cities with direct connections and the director of OTS Vienna (Teresa Ortiz) who is in charge of the Hungarian market, among others.
The intention with which Visit Benidorm participates in this fair is to know better the market and to strengthen ties with Turespaña. Hungary is within the list of emerging markets and has grown much the popularity of Spain in this country in recent times. Benidorm and the Costa Blanca have been doing a famtrip for 2 years with travel agents of the main TTOO of the Costa Blanca and Murcia, Budavar Tours, so that they can know firsthand the virtues of our area. |
